Annual Student Art Exhibition

Each year, for over forty years, the LTCC Art Department stages an exhibition of student artwork. There are 14 categories, in which the students may enter their work for competition for prizes. We invite a professional from outside the area to select the winners in each category, as well as select a “Best of Show” award.

A class in art exhibition and production is offered during the spring quarter to give students experience in all aspects of putting on an exhibition. This includes publicity, jurying, installation and lighting for 2D and 3D works of art.

There will be an opening reception on Sunday, May 22nd from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with music, refreshments, and a 3:30 p.m. awards ceremony. It is free to attend and open to the public.
